To squash all rumors, the CWA and Verizon have not started the 2026 contract extension bargaining. The CWA and Verizon will meet today, January 15, 2026, to set the date they will start bargaining. Please do not listen to rumors from management or anywhere else. If you have questions or concerns, please contact your local union officers to stay informed.
